This is not only a question suitable for the new year, but potentially one that’s good to review every quarter.

Lifestyle is a vague word because it includes every aspect of our daily life - the daily routine, exercise, diet, work hours, sleep, shopping, spending, friends we hang out with, parties, vacations, family time… the list goes on.

CHECKING IN WITH YOURSELF

Let’s make this simple - take a sheet of white paper and draw a line from top to bottom in the middle. Name the left side as “Positive” and the right as “Negative”. Then check your calendar of a typical week in 2023, place every item into this sheet of paper, and let the body tell you if it gives you positive or negative energy. As mentioned in this post about what will matter most to you in 20 years, I recommended doing this every 6 months, or even every month. I find it very helpful for listening inwards. Eventually, you get the hang of what your body wants most, and hence, a more aligned lifestyle.
